Not a single person with healthy, growing hair wish they could lose it all and go bald. The sad thing is some of us are or once were that very person with a full head of hair, now we are thinning and need to get it back the way it used to be.

Not all hair loss treatments and tips are good for preventing further loss of your hair. With all of the commercial products on the market it's quite hard to know which one is the best. Regardless of how many products you have used to try and stop baldness, only by following a few little-known tricks can you fully regrow your hair.

First you need to know that hair loss doesn't occur because of heredity. This is a big lie spread around mostly by these so called "hair experts" who only want to make a quick buck.

Some reasons for going bald involves a high level of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body, lack of necessary nutrients and minerals essential for hair to grow, and a few other things. For now you need to focus on keeping DHT away from your hair follicles. DHT is given off from the hormone testosterone and isn't toxic or harmful to your body, but it does kill hair cells.

For most guys and some gals, receding hair lines, patchy areas, and general thinning is a result of DHT. Head over to any drug store or nutrition center and purchase saw palmetto. You may know this herb for its benefits for the prostate gland, but it has been clearly shown to block the formation of DHT.

Be sure that you get at least 1,500 mg daily of saw palmetto to reap the best benefits and bring your baldness to a stop.

Another factor contributing to why so many are going bald is the fact that they aren't getting good blood circulation in their scalp. There are two easy ways to do this.

One is by massaging the scalp daily for 15 minutes, and the other is by taking 120 mg to 160 mg of ginkgo biloba two to three times a day.
