They need to make their muscles stronger and they can do that very well with these exercises. They can do a lot of arm raises, leg lifts, and bends and leans, all whilst sitting down comfortably in a chair.

2. You can start with water exercises like swimming after you are done with the basic sitting exercises. This is recommended as in water, the joints and bones are much lighter due to which there is slightly a lesser possibility of any injury happening. Many exercises can be done in the swimming pool which include, jumping, standing breaststrokes or arm swishes, and leg lifts and kicks and a lot more.

3. Walking is by far the most feasible form of exercise that has been recommended for overweight people. Although the full thirty minutes regime is extremely difficult for them to follow; they can start with anywhere between ten or fifteen minutes. Also always start your walking regime with good shock absorbent shoes; they will make you feel less tired. Always keep some water handy; you are overweight; you will feel thirstier and more out of breath than regular people. Never try to achieve everything the first day. Remember, slow and steady, wins the race. Take breaks to have some rest, start with shorter distances; trying to attempt too much the first day will only make you give up very quickly. So take it slow.

You too can lose weight no matter how much overweight you are. You just need to take one step at a time as it has taken you such a long time to put on this weight; an overnight miracle cannot save you. You'll just have to work on it.
